Brown rice mint Pulav

 


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown basmati rice or white basmati rice or any rice
  • 1/2 large onion
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 bunch mint leaves
  • 1 cup corn, beans, peas and carrot mixture. Frozen or fresh cut

Recipe

  1. Roughly chop 6 garlic cloves & green chilies.
  2. Sautee them in water.
  3. Add  roughly chopped onions and cook in water.
  4. Pluck the leaves from the mint bunch, wash.
  5. Add the mint leaves and continue sautéing.
  6. Set aside this mix  to cool down and grind to a paste in the blender.
  7. In a rice cooker, add 1 cup rice, the paste & cut vegetables.
  8. Add 2 1/2 cups water. Mix them all together.
  9. Cook in rice setting.
