Ingredients
- 1 cup brown basmati rice or white basmati rice or any rice
- 1/2 large onion
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 green chili
- 1 bunch mint leaves
- 1 cup corn, beans, peas and carrot mixture. Frozen or fresh cut
Recipe
- Roughly chop 6 garlic cloves & green chilies.
- Sautee them in water.
- Add roughly chopped onions and cook in water.
- Pluck the leaves from the mint bunch, wash.
- Add the mint leaves and continue sautéing.
- Set aside this mix to cool down and grind to a paste in the blender.
- In a rice cooker, add 1 cup rice, the paste & cut vegetables.
- Add 2 1/2 cups water. Mix them all together.
- Cook in rice setting.
