Ingredients
- 2 Plantains (type of banana)
- 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
Recipe
- Peel the skin of the banana with a peeler.
- Slice the banana into thin circles with a slicer.
- Cut plantains turn brown at once as they get oxidized very fast. So soak them in water.
- After all the plantains are sliced, pat them dry on a kitchen towel until all the water is absorbed.
- Turn the oven on to 375 degree F.
- Once the slices are dry, mix them with all the powder. Make sure the surface of the sliced plantain is coated with the mixture evenly.
- Spread them on a baking tray. Avoid overlapping slices as much as possible. It is very difficult to spread them out 1 by 1 so just do it approximately.
- Once oven is ready bake them in the oven for 45mts.
- Some slices will become really crispy and some to an extend.
- Enjoy them as a snack.
